What Youth Group Nights Looks Like...

Wednesday Nights
Having joined the staff as Youth Pastor in July of this year, I was praying where to start when it came to a teaching series.  God led me to begin at the beginning, Genesis.  There are so many crucial foundational truths laid out in the opening passages of the Scriptures, it is imperative we get a grasp on those.  Teaching topics have included Created in the Image of God, Work, Marriage and the Fall of Satan.  We mixed things up and showed a special film on 8/2/17 called “Created Cosmos”, which is the excellent planetarium film shown at the Creation Museum.

As a slight change to the Wednesday night schedule, we moved small group time to after Bible time in order for small groups to be able to dive into application questions based on what was just shared from God’s Word.  We also have been opening up the nights with a fun game to get the crowd excited and showing a brief video each week from a series called “Creatures that Defy Evolution” to help reinforce the creationist position.  If you haven't checked us out on a Wednesday night, we hope you'll join us!

Sunday Nights

With a slightly small and more relaxed setting, our students enjoy attending the evening Worship Service at 6pm before heading to the gym.  Each Sunday Night has a theme for added fun!  So far we have done Scattergories,  Fishbowl, Drama Night, Show & Tell Night, and Ninja Night.  After the activity and snack, we wrap up the night with a short challenge from God's Word.  It's a blast and a great time to make connections with others in the youth ministry.

In Christ,

Pastor Craig
